Local Colors is once again teaming up with Blue Ridge Literacy and the City of Roanoke to host a spring festival that is celebrated in the Afghan, Iranian, and other Central Asian communities. The event features highlights of Nowruz traditions, storytelling, traditional music, opportunities to join in traditional dancing, food and artisan crafts. There will be some fun activities for the kids, too!
The event will be in the main Library area, outside of the Blue Ridge Literacy office, at the end of the Art Walk. We will also have a portion of the event inside.
