Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast and Auction Day & Spring Craft and Vendor Show

Join us on Saturday, May 6, 2023 for our biggest Kiwanis Pancake and Auction Day - Roanoke's largest annual breakfast!  We are holding the event in person at the Berglund Center in partnership with the Spring Craft and Vendor Show. Thousands will be able to enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast and enjoy all the vendors at the Craft Show.

PANCAKES, AUCTION & YARD SALE
Join us in person on Saturday, May 6 at the Berglund Center anytime between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm for an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, auction and yard sale. Individual tickets for breakfast are $7.00 when purchased in advance and $10.00 when purchased on-site; children 5 years of age and under are free. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausages, syrup and toppings, cold and hot drinks.

Each year we sell over 100 items, including restaurant gift certificates, items for the home and yard, jewelry, and we auction the largest item in the City - Roanoke's Mill Mountain Star.

The winning bidder for the Star, beyond bragging rights, will be honored with a custom plaque installed at the base of the Star for a full year and they will receive media publicity at the Star dedication event.

Premium and non-premium items will be sold during the pancake breakfast in the yard sale area. The Roanoke Star will be auctioned separately.

Additional sponsor opportunities are available.  Sponsor benefits include:  name and logo featured in four full-page ads in The Roanoke Times newspaper, logo featured on our tickets, logo and name featured in our advertising and on banners at the event, and name featured during news interviews and press releases.

The Kiwanis Club of Roanoke uses the proceeds from this popular annual event to award grants to local community organizations, including many that are part of the local hospitality industry in Virginia’s Blue Ridge, such as Center in the Square, Grandin Theater Foundation, Mill Mountain Theatre, Mill Mountain Zoo, Opera Roanoke, Virginia Children's Theatre, and others.

CRAFT & VENDOR SHOW
We are holding the Kiwanis pancake breakfast, auction and yard sale in partnership with the May 6 Spring Craft and Vendor Show by Jason Lane of Savvy Events. Come out and shop 200+ great vendors from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Start shopping for Spring wreaths, welcome signs for your porch, or grab that unique Mothers Day gift. This event has been popular in Roanoke for years.
