As a guest soloist with Wynton Marsalis and his Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra or performing his own compositions with symphony orchestras, Hamilton captivates audiences from rock/pop festivals to the Olympic Games, and venues like Central Park and the Smithsonian. He has a vast discography with his label Brasilianos and partners like Universal and ECM. Hamilton’s music defies labels such as Jazz or Brazilian Popular Music, growing freely without definition. Describing himself as a musical explorer, he seeks beauty and spontaneity. He has collaborated with renowned artists including Chick Corea, The Dave Matthews Band, Chucho Valdes, Ivan Lins, Milton Nascimento, and more.
