Grinchmas STEAM Spectacular!
Mark your calendars for the most exciting holiday event of the season! On Saturday, December 14th, from 10 AM to 5 PM, the Science Museum of Western Virginia invites you and your family to a day filled with Grinch-inspired science, fun, and holiday magic!
Your ticket includes:
>A special screening of How the Grinch Stole Christmas in our immersive Planetarium!
>Entry to our Parakeet Garden – a winter wonderland of feathered friends.
>Access to all Grinchy STEAM activities for hands-on learning and holiday fun!
What’s Happening at the Spectacular:
Grinch Slime Lab – Whip up gooey, glittery Grinch slime to take home!
Who-Ville Engineering Challenge – Build your very own whimsical Who-Ville village!
Heartwarming Science – See your "heart grow three sizes" with a fun chemical reaction experiment.
Holiday Circuit Trees – Design a light-up "Grinchmas" tree using real circuits!
Storytime & Whoville Crafts – Hear the classic tale and craft Grinchy ornaments or masks.
Plus, holiday decor, festive music, and surprises around every corner!
