Welcome to the annual Mullet Contest!
Friday, June 27, 2025 at 8:00 PM during Rocky Mount Rotary Independence Festival
This fun and unique event celebrates one of the most iconic hairstyles known for its business-in-the front, party-in-the-back flair. Whether you’re a seasoned mullet enthusiast or a newcomer to this classic ‘do, we invite you to showcase your best mullet and compete for the top honors! Make sure to pre-register online or in person at the Essig Recreation Center. The Judging will occur and winners will be announced at the Independence Festival.
Great prizes will be awarded and the Overall Winner will claim the championship until the following year and be invited to many county appearances.
