AORE's Demo Day and Outdoor Jamboree is an event to encourage healthy, active outdoor recreation to complement the Annual Conference. By combining the things outdoor enthusiasts love – food, paddling, music, gear, biking, and demos all in a beautiful outdoor setting – Demo Day is a celebration of everything outdoors. Demo a mountain bike, test your balance on a slackline, try out some climbing shoes, learn some wilderness first aid, test your yoga skills on a SUP, crawl into a tent, enjoy a craft beer or two, listen to killer music, ride a big wheel, learn how to fix your outdoor gear and paddle down the river. Date and Time Tuesday, October 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Location Designated an Outdoor Tourism Hot Spot, Explore Park is one of the area’s most diverse destinations for outdoor recreation. Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 115, it features hundreds of acres of rolling hills, pristine woodlands, hiking trails, river frontage, historical buildings, and a visitor information center (where our Demo Day and Jamboree will take place).
