Daleville Summer Concert Series - Southern Accents, The Ultimate Tom Petty Experience

Presented by Bank of Botetourt & Michelob Ultra, we're stoked to welcome Nashville, TN based, Southern Accents: The Ultimate Tom Petty Experience! Featuring some of the best musicians from a state rich in musical history. What began as a fun way to honor one of their musical heroes in early 2017 quickly spiraled into sold-out shows in top venues across the country. The ultimate goal of the band? To authentically replicate the sound, feel and look of a classic Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers concert.

Lead singer Ronnie Gregg expertly nails the voice and mannerisms of Tom with a natural ease. Lead guitarist Nick Swan hits every classic note from Mike Campbell, and throws in a few more of his own for good measure. Bassist and co-founder Paul Jones perfectly meshes the styles of Ron Blair and Howie Epstein, while animated powerhouse Tony Mac combines the timeless swing of Stan Lynch with the clockwork timing of Steve Ferrone. Family band alum Jeff Hollandsworth rounds out the group by effortlessly playing the key parts of Benmont Tench, while also adding in flourishes of strings, horns and harmonica.

Taking their name from one of Petty’s most personal songs was no random choice. There’s just something about the South. Tom knew it, and these guys know it. They got their own way of playing, but every note’s begun with a southern accent. That’s where they come from. Get this event on your radar!

Children 12 and under are free. Admission is just $10 and supports Botetourt non-profit organizations. Tickets sold at the gate the day of the event - only!

Gates open at 5pm and the band starts at 6pm.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase from Mountain Grille & El Gordo's Kitchen. The Rad Shack will be serving up delicious frozen treats!

No outside food/drink/tents/umbrellas/pets/outside containers/weapons/hard balls (footballs, soccer balls, baseballs, softballs). Other venue rules posted and subject to change.

Proceeds benefit area non-profit organizations. Tonight's non-profits include Fincastle Lions Club and Botetourt Rotary Club.

Open at 5:00PM. Tickets are purchased at the gate. Entry is just $10. No re-entry.

Food:

Food Trucks on site! They offer a great menu in addition to non-alcoholic beverages.

Mountain Grille, Grandpa Ike's Mini Donuts, Chick Fil-A & The Rad Shack will be on site!

Outside food and beverages are NOT permitted.

Please bring your own blanket/chair, all bags are subject to search.

The Good Stuff:
Beer, sangria, club cocktails and hard seltzers available for purchase. Our featured craft brewer rotates per event. We have domestic favorites as well.
