Sit in on a private and wide-ranging conversation between Jefferson, as portrayed by actor Bill Barker, and his younger self, as portrayed by actor Kurt Smith. Learn what questions young Jefferson might have about his future, and what advice the retired president might offer his younger self. Conversations will be presented in matinee and evening performances followed by question-and-answer sessions moderated by Jeff Taylor, former news anchor on WSET. The matinee performance, which begins at 2:15 p.m., is preceded by a meet-and-greet with the actors and light refreshments at 1:30 p.m. Guests to the matinee performance may purchase discounted tickets ($9) to tour the house before (12:30 p.m.) or after (3:30 p.m.) the performance. The evening performance also begins with a meet-and-greet with the actors at a reception featuring wine and heavy hors d’oeuvres that begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the matinee performance include a pre-theater reception: $32 for adults (over 16) and $14 for youth (ages 6–16). House tours can be added at the reduced rate of $9 per person. Tickets for the evening performance include a pre-theater reception and house tour: $37 for adults (over 16) and $14 for youth (ages 6–16); reservations are suggested.
