Get in the water and help Cedar Creek and the Chesapeake Bay downstream in this multi-part cleanup event.
Team up with park rangers to remove litter and debris from Cedar Creek and its tributaries. Everything we remove is one less piece of trash heading to the James River, helping not just the park but the whole Chesapeake Bay!
Pre-registration is required so we can have personal protective equipment available. We will lend volunteers gloves, insect repellent, and safety vests for those working near roadsides. Muck boots or close-toed water shoes will let you get in the water, but there is plenty to pick up off the banks.
