Buchanan Christmas Parade

Make memories with your family in Downtown Buchanan. Join hundreds as they line Main Street to cheer the arrival of Santa during the annual Buchanan Christmas Parade. Come early, explore Buchanan's Main Street from one end of Town to the other. Discover the Buchanan Community Christmas Market set up 9 a.m. thru 3 p.m. Explore vendors set up around the Town Tree and along the sidewalk as they show and sell handmade crafts, art, antiques and other goods and services. Stroll along Main Street where you will find locally owned shops festively decorated offering great unique gifts as well as places to eat. Main Street will close to vehicular traffic at 3:00 p.m. to allow Parade participants to Line Up floats, vehicles and marching units for the Parade which begins at 4 p.m.. Church bells will ring at 4:00 p.m. announcing the beginning of the Buchanan Christmas Parade. The parade will make its' way up Main Street to cheering crowds waiting to catch a glimpse of Santa and Mrs. Clause as they bring Christmas cheer to Buchanan!  Following the Parade, consider grabbing dinner at a Buchanan restaurant then be sure to check out the Festival of Lights on the Buchanan Town Park at 485 Lowe Street. Buchanan invites you to wrap up your day with a movie at the historic Buchanan Theatre on Main Street with the show beginning at at 7:30 p.m.
