Join Creative Occasions Events for an unforgettable afternoon of floral artistry and craft cocktails at the historic The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center Don’t miss this unique opportunity to sip, design, and unwind in a one-of-a-kind setting!
Step into the AKA Speakeasy Room on Sunday, June 29th from 3:00–4:30 PM, for a hands-on Floral Arranging & Mixology Class like no other.
Begin your experience at the 1882 Bar at The Hotel Roanoke, then venture downstairs to the hotel’s hidden gem, the AKA Speakeasy Room. There, you'll meet Henry Hill Jr., an award-winning mixologist and Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association’s "Bartender of the Year." Henry will guide you through crafting a signature bourbon-inspired cocktail designed exclusively for this event. With your handcrafted drink in hand, transition into a fun-filled floral design session led by Mark Frye, an acclaimed florist whose work has graced the White House. Mark will share expert tips and techniques to help you create a stunning vase arrangement
