Welcome to Virginia's Blue Ridge Enduro Series, presented by Cardinal Bicycle! The series features the following two races:
The inaugural event showcases two distinct and diverse trail systems - WooHoo at Waid Sprint Enduro at Waid Park in Franklin County on Saturday, October 2 and Creature from Carvins Cove in Roanoke on Saturday, October 16. These multi-stage races will accumulate for a 10 stage total time.
Timing will be electronically chipped timed with Zone4, thanks to sponsorship from Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge. No USAC license is needed to participate in this event. There will be no waiting in line to start a stage, just drop in and go!
Pre-registration for the series is strongly advised. The last day to register is September 29 by noon. All series participants will receive a custom jersey.
NOTE: Participants have the option to register for the series and compete in both races or register for either race individually.
The series kicks off on Saturday, October 2 with the WooHoo at Waid Park Sprint Enduro in Franklin County. You can expect five stages, which utilize the newest and most progressive features in the Waid Park trail network.
A medium travel trail bike or maybe even a beefed up XC race bike will be fastest across these stages. Be ready for rock gardens, man-made jumps and sections with fast back-to-back corners, and yes, quite a bit of sprinting if you want to win!
Expect 7-10 minutes of accumulated time. The first 50 registered riders will receive a WooHoo logo jersey.
Rider check-in will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and the race starts at 10:00 a.m.
Food and libations will be available on location.
