Get ready for some fun upcoming events at Dr Pepper Park at The Bridges!
Located in Downtown Roanoke in Virginia’s Blue Ridge, this outdoor concert venue and event space combines many of the best features of the region.
Situated at the base of Mill Mountain, the venue lawn offers a view of the iconic Roanoke Star and is positioned along the Roanoke River.
Operated and managed by Sponsor Hounds, Dr Pepper Park opened in May 2015 and hosts some of the most popular annual events in Virginia’s Blue Ridge, including the Woofstock Dog Festival, Roanoke Wing Fest, and Cinco de Mayo Festival.
It’s also a great spot for live music, which is the highlight of the next few weeks.
This Friday, July 8th, bring your motorcycle out for the fun for the FridayFuel Bike Night event, featuring the sounds of Tuesday’s Gone, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. The event starts at 5:30 p.m., and tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate.
The good music continues the following week with a concert by Blues Traveler. The multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning band will perform at Dr Pepper Park on Wednesday, July 13th, in what should be an awesome night of blues & rock.
And because Dr Pepper Park always keeps us entertained, the fun continues the next night (Thursday, July 14th) with a performance from Rumours - a Fleetwood Mac tribute band that’s part of the park’s Throwback Thursdays Music Series.
Once you’ve had your fill of great music, get your fill of delicious food at the Mid-Atlantic Cajun Festival on Saturday, July 23rd. It promises to be a full day of fun where the good times will certainly roll.
Dr Pepper Park at The Bridges is also only a short drive to many other great experiences in Downtown Roanoke, including the Taubman Museum of Art, Center in the Square, and Virginia Museum of Transportation.
