Visitors now have another opportunity to be able to enjoy Virginia’s Blue Ridge by bike with the launch of a new bike share program in Roanoke.
The new program, operated in partnership with RIDE Solutions and Zagster Inc., features 50 cruiser bikes that are available at 10 different stations throughout the city for on-demand, local trips.
It’s Roanoke’s first municipal bike share system and it provides locals and visitors easy access to the fun and freedom of biking in Virginia’s Blue Ridge. The program is also another step in creating a healthy local environment and part of the growing collection of outdoor amenities in the region.
