With 500 miles of shoreline boasting some of Virginia’s best fishing holes and water activities for the entire family, Smith Mountain Lake has earned its reputation as the "Jewel of the Blue Ridge."

However, on those rainy Blue Ridge Days when Mother Nature just won't cooperate and allow you to enjoy the water at Smith Mountain Lake, it doesn't mean you have to struggle to find fun things to do in Virginia's Blue Ridge.

For rainy days at the lake, we've put together this helpful list of indoor experiences to keep you entertained during your next vacation.
