Here are some of the best outdoor music venues to catch a performance in Virginia’s Blue Ridge!

Chantilly Farm & Campground

Chantilly Farm & Campground is a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway to the Blue Ridge Mountains where you can pitch your tent or park your RV. Located just a few miles from the charming Town of Floyd and its eclectic music heritage, Chantilly Farm hosts numerous concerts and music festivals throughout the year, including its popular annual Bluegrass & BBQ Festival - a 3-day event held over Memorial Day Weekend full of authentic mountain music. 

Daleville Town Center & Performance Pavilion

Framed by the surrounding mountains, the performance pavilion at the Daleville Town Center is a hub of the growth and exciting things happening in Botetourt County in Virginia’s Blue Ridge. The pavilion hosts multiple concert series during the spring and summer, including the Party at the Pavilion and Daleville Summer Concert Series. You can also enjoy great food and drinks at the Daleville Town Center at local spots like the Town Center Tap House, Tizzone Wood Fired Kitchen & Wine Bar, and Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee

Dr Pepper Park at The Bridges

Party at the base of Mill Mountain and enjoy a view of the Roanoke Star while you dance the night away at Dr Pepper Park at The Bridges in Downtown Roanoke. The venue’s Flashback Friday Series offers a chance to enjoy the music of many of your favorite groups of the 80s, such as Van Halen, Motley Crue, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, with performances by various tribute bands.

Elmwood Park

Elmwood Park is located within walking distance of Downtown Roanoke’s historic Market District and is a fantastic spot to enjoy an outdoor concert in Virginia’s Blue Ridge. Spend some time checking out the local shops and restaurants in Downtown Roanoke and then find a spot in the beautiful amphitheater. The park hosts major annual music events like Festival in the Park, as well as weekly concert series like Party in Elmwood.

Mango’s Bar & Grill

Wind down your Blue Ridge Day at Smith Mountain Lake with dinner and live music at Mango’s Bar & Grill at Bridgewater Marina. There’s live entertainment every Friday and Saturday and the patio is a fun spot for singing, dancing, and relaxing. You may be in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, but a visit to Mango’s will put you in a “tropical state of mind.”

Not only do the vineyards and wineries in Virginia’s Blue Ridge produce award-winning wines, they also serve as some of the best venues for outdoor concerts in the region! Blue Ridge Vineyard, Beliveau Estate Winery, and Chateau Morrisette all feature Sunday concert series. Cheers!
