November is set to be another great month for live music in the Roanoke Valley in Virginia’s Blue Ridge.

As we enter the holiday season, numerous legendary artists will be making their way to the region for performances, including a recently named Nobel Prize winner as the iconic Bob Dylan will perform at Berglund Center on November 5.

Dylan is just one of many great concerts happening at Berglund Center this month, which will also host Cheap Trick on November 4, Craig Morgan for a special Veterans Day performance on November 11, the amazing a cappella group Straight No Chaser on November 15, and the hit folk rock group The Avett Brothers on November 18.

Other music venues in Virginia’s Blue Ridge will also host multiple Grammy-winning performers this month, with shows by R&B artist Lalah Hathaway at the Jefferson Center on November 10, blues musician Keb’ Mo’ at The Harvester Performance Center on November 15, country music legend Loretta Lynn at the Jefferson Center on November 18, and Marc Cohn (known for his hit song “Walking in Memphis”) at The Harvester on November 20.

If you're a fan of classical music, the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech features multiple shows this month by The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and a concert by The Kandinsky Trio with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Paul Langosch.

As part of the nightlife scene in Downtown Roanoke, you can also catch a variety of bands at Martin’s Downtown Bar & Grill almost any night of the week, as well as regular shows at Blue 5 and Sidewinders Steak House and Saloon.
