It sounds like summer with the air full of live music in the Roanoke Valley in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains!

June is a fantastic time to plan a getaway to the Blue Ridge Mountains, especially if you’re a music fan who wants to attend some local concerts.

Many of the outdoor music venues, such as Elmwood Park and Dr Pepper Park at The Bridges, will be hosting major concerts during the month with performances from bands like Fuel, Montgomery Gentry, and Eve 6, and there are also numerous recurring concert series to spend a fun night out listening to some tunes.

For a complete Blue Ridge Day of live music, check out events like the Giant Jam Sandwich: A FloydFest Family Picnic, Big Lick Burger Fest & Summer Jam, and the Franklin County Court Days.

You can also immerse yourself in music history and heritage by taking part in The Crooked Road’s Mountains of Music Homecoming, which will feature nine days of concerts and special events at various venues.
