Fireworks are always a fun part of a 4th of July celebration. In the Roanoke Valley in Virginia's Blue Ridge, we'll be celebrating in style at a variety of events where fireworks will be part of the entertainment.

The patriotism and American pride of our region is on full display with a collection of fun festivals and events that conclude with fireworks spectacles that light up the sky.

With Independence Day falling on a Monday this year, we'll have multiple days of fireworks in Virginia's Blue Ridge, as many events take place over the weekend while others will be held on Monday, July 4th.

Whether it's part of the festivities at things like the Salem Fair and Buchanan Community Carnival, or you're watching from the shores of the water at Smith Mountain Lake, the entire family will enjoy finishing your Blue Ridge Day by watching the fireworks.
