The Fashions for Evergreens tree competition is part of the annual holiday transformation of The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center in Virginia’s Blue Ridge.

The historic hotel in the heart of Downtown Roanoke is beautifully decorated for the holidays, making it a popular place to visit for family photos for locals and visitors.

Fashions for Evergreens offers local businesses and organizations the opportunity to showcase their tree decorating skills in this friendly competition that helps raise money for the United Way of the Roanoke Valley.

It’s free to visit the hotel and see the incredible collection of trees, but visitors are asked to support this great cause by monetarily voting for their favorite tree. The tree that raises the most money is declared the People’s Choice winner! This event has raised over $25,000 in the past five years.

The 2016 Fashions for Evergreens features 35 uniquely designed and decorated trees, offering a variety of themes.

While each one is great in its own way, here are 10 trees in this year’s contest you absolutely can’t miss.
