Virginia's Blue Ridge Recognized
as a Premier Outdoor Destination

Readers of Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine were asked to select their favorite regional races, faces and places in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic for over 60 award categories. Five thousand votes were cast over the course of four weeks. The most recent issue revealed the results of the "2015 Best of the Blue Ridge," recognizing Virginia’s Blue Ridge as a premier outdoor destination for biking, climbing, yoga, running and more.

The region has received numerous awards and accolades over the past few years.  With our outstanding quality of life, stunning natural beauty and wide variety of activities, the region constantly finds itself on different 'Top 10' Lists and other rankings from numerous publications and organizations.  Click here to view these awards and accolades.
