Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge, formerly the Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with ConventionSouth's Rendezvous South is responsible for hosting 29 qualified meeting planners this week (February 27 - March 1, 2017). "We chose Roanoke for the location and accessibility as a place where meeting attendees will have the opportunity to concentrate on business and relax in a beautiful setting," stated J. Talty O'Connor, Publisher of ConventionSouth. 

The major objective of hosting this meeting is to gain exposure and raise awareness of Virginia's Blue Ridge as a meeting destination. While here, the meeting planners will be experiencing Virginia's Blue Ridge first-hand in the region. The ultimate goal is to bring in new groups creating a greater economic impact on the local economy.
