Latest Winner of "The Voice" is Coming to Salem
Craig Wayne Boyd Added to Star-Studded Lineup for May's Blue Ridge Music Festival
For Immediate Release - January 15, 2015
Craig Wayne Boyd, the former church choir director who followed his dreams all the way to the top spot on season seven of The Voice, is headed to Salem May 30 to perform on the opening day of the 2015 Blue Ridge Music Festival. Boyd was born and raised in Texas, but took his immense talents to Nashville in 2000 looking to make his mark on Music Row. Fourteen years of frustrations had him on the verge of throwing in the towel, but then he got his big break and plenty of national exposure on The Voice as a member of Blake Shelton's team.
Boyd will perform on Saturday, May 30, with Brad Paisley, Jerrod Niemann, Charlie Daniels Band, The Swon Brothers, Will Hoge and Jamie Lynn Spears. Sunday's lineup consists of Florida Georgia Line, Colt Ford, Dustin Lynch, Frankie Ballard, Chris Lane, Clare Dunn and Bryson Jennings.
