The Roanoke Valley CVB earns 
2014 ConventionSouth Readers' Choice Award

Readers of ConventionSouth magazine voted the Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (RVCVB) one of the best destination marketing organizations in the South for offering exemplary service for group events.  The magazine’s Publisher, J. Talty O’Connor, stated in a recent news release, "The value in receiving this prestigious recognition is that it comes from the United States’ top meeting professionals who hold events in the South. These planners demand the highest level of customer service and quality facilities, and they have contributed in determining that the RVCVB indeed displays the commitment to professionalism, creativity and service that these planners require." 

 

The RVCVB works closely with partners to promote Virginia’s Blue Ridge as a welcome destination for meetings, conventions and conferences.  The sales team offers a number of complimentary services to facilitate the planning and group experience including coordination of site visits, activity and tour suggestions, visitor information and more.

This is the first time for the RVCVB to receive this award which will be featured in the December 2014 Awards Issue of ConventionSouth magazine.  The magazine is distributed to more than 18,000 meeting professionals.
