(March 21, 2011) - The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center,a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, was recognized with three global awards within the Doubletree by Hilton brand in 2010, including the highest bestowed honor,The Connie Award, singling it out as one of highest rated property by customers. More than 240 hotels across the Doubletree by Hilton worldwide portfolio were assessed and evaluated for each of these annual honors.


In addition to earning its second Connie Award since joining the brand, The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center was presented with their seventh consecutive Pride Award (awarded to only 10 hotels) and also received the Award of Excellence in Food and Beverage for the second year in a row.

Named in honor of companyfounder Conrad Hilton, this award is presented to the top-performing, small(under 224 rooms) and large (225 rooms and above), hotels in the DoubleTree byHilton brand with the highest overall hotel performance scores.



Awarded to the top tenperforming hotels, the DoubleTree by Hilton Pride Award is determined by three key components: a Brand Consistency Index (a measurement of Physical Condition,Cleanliness, and compliance with Brand Standards), Guest Loyalty Scores (a combination of three scores from the DoubleTree by Hilton Satisfaction and Loyalty Tracking Report) and the Brand Promise Scorecard (a rating system of 12key performance service indicators by the brand). 



Presented to the hotel withthe highest aggregate guest loyalty and quality assurance scores, specific toeight brand food and beverage measurements.
