The Boston Globe, touted as one of the nation’s top newspapers with a Sunday circulation of 362,849, put Roanoke on the map for Bostonians and online readers with a feature travel article this weekend.  The article, titled, "A washout brings unexpected benefits in Roanoke, Va." by Diane Daniel, Globe Correspondent, also included a sidebar titled "If you go to Roanoke..." mentioning places to stay, eat and do.

The Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (RVCVB) had the privilege of hosting Diane in July of last year during a memorable yet rainy weekend.  The timing of the article is definitely a plus as trip planning is on everyone's mind along with putting winter behind us.
