Roanoke Selected As Virginia’s
"Southern Hospitality City"

The Editors of ConventionSouth magazine, a national multimedia resource for planning events that are held within the South, have officially announced their Hot Picks for the 2013 "Southern Hospitality Cities." The list is comprised of one city from each state in the South (15 states total) and cities were selected based on in-depth research that focused on the following categories:

• Historical/Quintessential  Tourism Areas
• Service Standards, Politeness
• Visitor-Friendly Traditions
• Community Pride
