Record Web Traffic to Virginia's Blue Ridge Website

The Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (RVCVB) recently completed its most successful month ever for traffic to its website, www.visitvablueridge.com.

The site, which serves as the official destination marketing website for Virginia's Blue Ridge, along with the organization's contest microsite, www.blueridgetime.com, received a record-breaking 69,676 visitors during the month of July. The total eclipsed the previous record of 62,509 unique visitors who came to the site during July 2014.

This traffic resulted in 222,669 pageviews on the CVB's websites, providing potential visitors the opportunity to learn about all the experiences that can be part of a vacation in Virginia's Blue Ridge, while also receiving information about over 900 local businesses that partner with the RVCVB.

The recent transition of www.visitvablueridge.com to becoming a fully responsive website also meant website visitors were able to view dynamic, engaging content about the region from any device, further enhancing their web experience and making Virginia's Blue Ridge a more appealing destination.
