Iconic recipes from Virginia's Blue Ridge were featured in okra. magazine's special edition digital cookbook.

"To Dine Southern" is full of flavor from cover to cover and perfectly pairs flavors from restaurants, chefs, and cookbook authors from all corners of the South. 

This special publication was created to offer, "fun in the kitchen and some amazing restaurants to look forward to visiting as we are able to get back to our lives," ​ following the novel coronavirus. 

The historic Hotel Roanoke's heirloom peanut soup recipe can be found on page 23 followed by their tasty spoonbread recipe on page 56.

Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge welcomed members of okra. magazine's editorial team to the region on a media visit and provided images that were included with the recipes.
