Media Coverage Breaks New Record!
The Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) achieved an all time high for media coverage exceeding goals set for the FY 2011 - 2012. Media coverage results totaled over 34 million in circulation and an advertising equivalency of over $525,000. Impressions of Virginia's Blue Ridge reached numerous consumers from Canada to Houston and Kansas to New Jersey. Headlines included "Roanoke keeps Track of Change" to "Room to Roam" and "Salem Sox a Big Hit in Roanoke Valley Blue Ridge Mountains Region of Virginia".
