A feature about Virginia's Blue Ridge was recorded last Fall (October 2011) during a media tour hosted by the Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau. We introduced California NPR radio personality Tom Wilmer to several partners, resulting in a series of podcasts that were broadcast in California with NPR affiliate KCBX in Santa Barbara. Wilmer, an award-winning author and journalist, was selected by NPR to feature his podcast segments on its site. Wilmer chose to highlight our region.
