This amazing front cover and article spread in the September/October issue of Blue Ridge Country Magazine illustrates over six pages of editorial with an approximate advertising equivalency of $40,000.  This bimonthly regional magazine boasts a readership of 335,000 covering travel, history, food, festivals, outdoors and the environment in the mountains of nine southern states.

The Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (RVCVB) realizes the significance of this media coverage for Virginia’s Blue Ridge on many levels from the value to the exposure throughout the Mid-Atlantic and southern states.  The story was written by long-time Roanoker and Blue Ridge Country editor-at-large Cara Ellen Modisett, who translates her intimate knowledge of the region into a welcome invitation.  "The article is an incredible testimony for locals and visitors to take another look at this region as a mountain vacation destination," said Landon Howard, President of the RVCVB.
