Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge was excited to partner with the travel blog Well Traveled Child for a recent visit to the region.
Well Traveled Child is a travel website that focuses on family oriented travel and highlights accommodations, attractions and activities, and the culinary scene of a destination.
Their visit to Virginia's Blue Ridge included a variety of signature experiences, such as a visit to the Roanoke Star and Mill Mountain Zoo on Mill Mountain, checking out the museums at Center in the Square, exploring Natural Bridge State Park, having some beers at Starr Hill Pilot Brewery & Side Stage, and dining at Tuco's Taqueria Garaje.

"At the top of Mill Mountain stands the Roanoke Star – giving you a stunning view of the city and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The star is just minutes from downtown – bring a picnic lunch and stay a while, you will want to soak in the beauty. There is also a small park for children with a rock climbing wall to get to the slide – it was 40 degrees and my daughter did not want to leave!"
