Private chalets are available to purchase for the 27th Anniversary SML Wine Festival. They are perfect for large groups, parties, corporate events, hosting clients/potential clients, and/or hosting a private picnic for your friends and family.  There are three different size chalets, each including a tent, tasting and non-tasting tickets, banquet tables, cocktail tables, signage, and a private fenced in area. The Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival’s participating area ticket outlets are in high gear selling for the lake’s popular autumn celebration.   The 27th Annual Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival will be held the last Saturday and Sunday in September (26th and 27th).  This year, 29 Virginia wineries will be participating as well as 85 juried craft and food vendors.  Three popular live bands will also be there to entertain festival-goers.  Saturday crowds will enjoy the music of Dragonfly and Fuzzy Logic. Sunday’s festivities feature The Embers with Craig Woolard. The Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival will be held at LakeWatch Plantation in Moneta, directly off of Route 122, about 1 mile south of Hales Ford Bridge.  This venue allows for easy access to the site, an abundance of free parking and more space for festival-goers to enjoy the festivities. Eventbrite offers the ticket purchaser all of the crucial elements of proven web-based security, plus it’s convenient for our out-of-area festival-goers or those locally who prefer on-line transactions.

By purchasing tickets in advance, festival-goers can take advantage of the advance-sale discount.  Advance ticket prices are effective through Friday, September 25 at all ticket outlets. Tickets are $25 for tasters, $30 at the gate.  Non-tasters will pay $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. 

Proceeds from the festival make it possible for the SML Regional Chamber to support many new and growing programs designed to promote business in the lake region.
