Step on Guides

Receive a warm welcome to the Roanoke Valley and make your group feel like VIPs - with a step-on guide.

You'll want to make your first stop at the Visitor Information Center located in the former Norfolk & Western Railway Passenger Station in downtown Roanoke. Take as much time as you like browsing the historic and renovated building or visit the O. Winston Link Museum, which is housed in the same building. Just let us know your arrival date and time and we'll have a trained step-on guide available to assist you. You can choose from the following options:

On-board welcome and rest stop:
Free

On-board welcome, rest stop and guide to Downtown Historic Farmers' Market:
Free

On-board welcome, rest stop and step-on guide for up to two hours around the Roanoke Valley:
$30 per hour, minimum $60

On-board welcome, rest stop and step-on guide for the entire day:
Rate negotiated depending upon start and end times.
