General admission is FREE! The Taubman Museum of Art is located in the heart of downtown Roanoke. Open Wed-Sunday with a varying schedule of exhibitions, classes, programs, music, and events. The exhibitions are drawn from collections around the world, regional artists, and the museum's permanent collection of American art from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The museum features 10 galleries, a soaring 77 foot glass Atrium, spectacular balcony overlooking iconic landmarks, pop up café (hours vary), and gift shop. Art Venture, an interactive, exploratory space for youth ages 2-12 and their families offers hands-on art stations in painting, drawing, theater play, building and more!
