You’ll never really “get” the Hokie Spirit until you’ve visited campus and walked among the Hokie Nation. When you first arrive on campus, you will want to stop first at the Visitor and Undergraduate Admissions Center. One of the Visitor Center staff will be happy to help you with your parking needs...they can issue you a parking pass, campus map, directions, and other pertinent information that will help you navigate campus. They can also show you some interesting places to visit while on campus that will make your visit more complete. (Please have your license plate information ready when requesting a pass.) The center is located at 925 Prices Fork Road, which is located at the corner of Prices Fork Road and University City Boulevard, near The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. Look for it at the southwest corner of Prices Fork Road and University City Boulevard. The visitor center is open 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the months of November through February), 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Undergraduate Admissions staff is available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Experience the past. Invent the future. Prepare to spend some time browsing the center’s interactive exhibits that showcase Virginia Tech’s history, mission, academics, student life, and ongoing research and outreach — and get your picture taken with the HokieBird! Meet the staff: Sharon Sarver, visitor center supervisor, is the face of the Virginia Tech Visitor Center, assisting visitors and managing the daily operations of the center. Visitors tell us that their visit simply wouldn’t have been complete without her personal welcome. Stephanie Battleson, Pat Mullins, and Sherrilyn Aldridge, visitor center receptionists, are also available to help welcome our more than 60,000 visitors to the Virginia Tech campus, while providing them with a map and directions to their destinations. Contact the Visitor Center for Parking passes, maps, and other visitor information which can be shared by contacting them at 540-231-3548, or by Emailing Sharon at: welcome@vt.edu.
