Heritage Family Market opened in December 2013 and now, the 4,000-square foot space is half retail — a deli counter, dairy and frozen food sections, and shelves of dry and canned goods — and half warehouse, office space and food prep/bakery.Heritage Family Market sells deli sliced meats & cheeses, and has a bakery with fresh bread, cinnamon and raspberry rolls, and whoopie pies. They sell bulk foods like flour, sugar, spices, soup mix, cappuccino mix, hot cocoa mix and nuts packaged for purchase. Frozen fruits and vegetables as well as dried fruits are also available for purchase. The store also sells jar goods like salsa, chow chow, pickles, relish, jams and jellies. Much of the store’s inventory comes from Amish and Mennonite suppliers in Ohio and Pennsylvania, but several Virginia-produced items are on the store’s shelves as well.

    I-81 Northbound: Get off at Exit 150B. Follow the exit ramp onto US-11. In 0.2 mile, turn right onto US-220 North (Roanoke Rd). Drive North on 220 for 8.6 miles. Heritage Family Market is on the right side.

    I-81 Southbound: Get off at Exit 156. Turn right at end of ramp onto Brughs Mill Road. Drive for 3.2 miles. Turn right onto Rt. 220 North (Roanoke Rd). Drive for 1.5 miles, and look for Heritage Family Market on the right.

    I-64 East: Take Exit 27 for US-60 W/220 S toward Clifton Forge/Roanoke. Bear right at end of ramp. Continue for 0.6 mile, then bear right on ramp for US-220 South. Drive for 25.7 miles, arriving at Heritage Family Market on the left.

    I-64 West: Take Exit 27 for US-60 W/220 S toward Clifton Forge/Roanoke. Turn left at end of ramp. Continue for 0.6 mile, then bear right on ramp for US-220 South. Drive for 25.7 miles, arriving at Heritage Family Market on the left.
