Roaring Run Trail

The Roaring Run Recreation Area is an experience the entire family can enjoy. The trail winds along the Roaring Run stream, which offers views of rock walls, cascading water, and exciting foot bridges.

The Roaring Run Furnace is a 19th century iron ore furnace that was used for a variety of purposes during the pre-Civil War era. The furnace, which is on the National Register of Historic Place, is located along the trail and signs provide more information about its history.

There is also a nearby picnic area and the stream is a popular spot for trout fishing.
