The Taubman Museum of Art is located in the heart of downtown Roanoke. The museum features modern and contemporary art drawn from collections around the world, regional art, touring exhibitions and the museum's permanent collection of American paintings from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Art Venture, an interactive, exploratory gallery for youth and families, offers hands-on art stations in painting, drawing, theater, printmaking, building, sculpture, 3D printing, music, and more. While visiting, plan to shop at the Museum Store, which showcases exhibit-related merchandise, regional fine crafts, and unique gifts from around the world. Dine at Norah’s Café, offering simple-yet-upscale dining in a contemporary café setting. For more information and to learn about current exhibitions, please visit the website at www.taubmanmuseum.org or call (540) 342-5760. Open Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free!
